Salad with Boston lettuce, strawberries and gorgonzola
Ingredients
- 10 strawberries
- 125 g of gorgonzola
- 2 Boston lettuce
- 80 ml (1/3 cup) of walnuts
For the vinaigrette:
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) of olive oil
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of lemon juice
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of chopped fresh mint
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of chopped fresh oregano
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of chopped garlic
- Salt and pepper up to taste
- In a large bowl, whisk all ingredients for the vinaigrette.
- Slice strawberries into halves. Dice gorgonzola. Set aside 4 large leaves of Boston lettuce and chop the remaining leaves.
- Into the large bowl, set strawberries chopped Boston lettuce and walnuts. Stir.
- Set a Boston lettuce leaf into each plate. Divide strawberry salad and diced gorgonzola over leaves.
