Brie fondant with leeks and dried fruits
Ingredients
- 1/2 package of 250 g (2 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of butter
- 1 ripe pear, peeled and diced
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) of shelled pistachios
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) of dried cranberries
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 1 Brie cheese or any soft cheese
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a pan, sauté sliced leeks in butter for 2 minutes. Add diced pears, pistachios, cranberries, and rosemary. Cook for 1 minute while stirring often.
- Set Brie cheese on an oven-safe plate covered with aluminum paper or on a plate made exactly for this kind of cooking. Cover with leeks garnishing. Oven bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool down for 5 minutes before serving.
- You may also prepare leeks garnishing beforehand. It can be refrigerated well until the next day.
