Bib of beef with leeks, lemon, honey and mustard
Ingredients
- 1 kg (2.2 pounds) of bib of beef
- 1/2 package of 250 g (2 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
- 1 envelope of demi-glace sauce (prepare as indicated over the package)
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of honey
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of butter
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of Dijon mustard
- Brown leeks in butter in a nonstick pan at medium heat for some minutes.
- Add honey and lemon juice, mix well and cook for one more minute.
- Pour preparation of demi-glace sauce and mustard. Mix well to get a smooth and homogenized texture. Reduce to the desired consistency.
- Cook the bib of beef with a bit of oil for 2 to 3 minutes each side on high heat. Salt and pepper.
- Serve with leeks, lemon, honey and mustard sauce. A true delight!
