Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 250 ml (1 cup) of flour
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) of milk
  • 10 ml (2 teaspoons) of baking powder
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of fat
  • 1 pinch of salt

For the broth:

  • 750 ml (3 cups) of frozen or fresh blueberries
  • >100 ml (1/2 cup) of sugar
  • 150 ml (2/3 cup) of brown sugar
  • 250 ml (1 cup) of water
  • Vanilla up to taste
Preparation

  • Mix broth ingredients together and heat at medium heat, until sugar and brown sugar are entirely diluted.

  • Mix dough ingredients together and set this mixture one by one with a spoon into the hot broth.

  • Cover and boil for 15 minutes at low heat. It's important not to lift up the lid while cooking or the dough wont puff.
