Blueberry dumplings
Ingredients
For the dough:
-
250 ml (1 cup) of flour
-
125 ml (1/2 cup) of milk
-
10 ml (2 teaspoons) of baking powder
-
30 ml (2 tablespoons) of fat
-
1 pinch of salt
For the broth:
-
750 ml (3 cups) of frozen or fresh blueberries
-
>100 ml (1/2 cup) of sugar
-
150 ml (2/3 cup) of brown sugar
-
250 ml (1 cup) of water
-
Vanilla up to taste

Mix broth ingredients together and heat at medium heat, until sugar and brown sugar are entirely diluted.

Mix dough ingredients together and set this mixture one by one with a spoon into the hot broth.

Cover and boil for 15 minutes at low heat. It's important not to lift up the lid while cooking or the dough wont puff.
