Ingredients
  • 680 g (1 1/2 lb) of chopped beef
  • 1/2 package of 250 g (2 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1/2 red pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of finely chopped coriander leaf
  • 4 French shallots, finely chopped
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) of chili sauce
  • 1 egg, lightly whisked
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of Worcestershire sauce
  • Few Tabasco sauce drops, up to taste
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of Cayenne pepper
  • 45 ml (3 tablespoons) of soy or tamari sauce
  • Ground salt and pepper, up to taste
  • 6 to 8 hamburger or sesame seeds kaiser breads
Preparation
Side-by-side mode
  • Preheat the barbecue to medium heat.
  • In a large bowl, mix and knead all ingredients except hamburger bread. Divide and make 6 to 8 meatballs with the mixture.
  • On the lightly oiled barbecue grill, bake the meat patty on each side for 6 to 8 minutes or until the meat is well cooked. Roast hamburger breads. Serve meatballs over grilled bread.
