Strawberries fondue
Ingredients
- 250 ml (1 cup) of water
- 250 ml (1 cup) of sugar
- 450 g (1 pound) of strawberries
- 250 ml (1 cup) of cooking cream
- 15 ml (1 c. à soupe) of cornstarch
For the fruits:
- 1 apple
- 1 banana
- 1 melon
- 2 pears
- 1 bunch of grapes
- 16 strawberries
- In a casserole, mix water with sugar. Bring to a boil.
- Add strawberries and cream. Bring again to a boil.
- In a small bowl, dilute cornstarch in a bit of cold water. Add this mixture to the strawberries preparation.
- Slice fruits into pieces.
- Set the strawberry preparation inside a mixer. Mix and pour into a fondue pot.
- Soak sliced fruits into the strawberries fondue.
