Prepare vinaigrette in a large bowl and mix all ingredients. Roast walnuts in a pan a medium heat while stirring often, until it creates aroma and browns lightly (optional). Set in the large bowl.
Slice strawberries and set in the bowl with lettuce. Shake lightly to well impregnate strawberries, walnuts and lettuce. Salt, pepper and lightly stir once again. Serve with parmesan cheese.

Parmesan cheese can be replaced with any other type of firm cheese.
