Pilaf rice with tuna
Ingredients
- 1 package of 250 g (4 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
- 375 ml (1 1/2 cup) of long grains white rice
- 500 ml (2 1/4 cups) of vegetables broth
- 500 ml (2 cups) of frozen vegetables californian style
- 2 cans of 170 gr each of tuna, drained
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of olive oil
- 45 ml (3 tablespoons) of chopped fresh parsley
- Preheat oven at 180 ºC (350 ºF).
- In a casserole, heat oil at medium heat. Cook leeks for 2 to 3 minutes. Add rice and stir.
- Pour broth and bring to a boil. Add vegetables. Cover and bring again to a boil. Oven bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Add tune and parsley in the casserole. Continue cooking 5 minutes and serve.
