Les Cultures de chez nous leeks pie
Ingredients
- 8 tartlet bases (2 inches)
- 2 packages of 250 g (8 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of butter
- Salt and pepper up to taste
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) of cooking cream
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 pinch (1/4 teaspoon) of nutmeg
- 200 g (1 1/2 cups) of grated Cheddar cheese
- Boil Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks for 5 minutes and drain. Melt butter in a casserole. Add leeks, then salt and pepper. Stir, lower heat and cover. Steam slowly for 10 minutes.
- Remove the lid, stir and cook for 5 minutes to evaporate part of the liquid. Mix cream, egg yolks, nutmeg and Cheddar cheese. Add to leeks compote and garnish tartlets bases.
- Spread with Cheddar each tartlet and bake at 350°F (180°C) for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Serve warm.
