Homemade leek guacamole and tortilla chips

Ingredients
  • 6 medium-sized tortillas, slice into triangles
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of vegetable oil
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 package of 250 g (4 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
  • 5 mature avocados
  • Lime zest and juice
  • Sambal oelek up to taste or a few drops of tabasco
  • Salt and pepper up to taste
Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Set tortilla slices on a cookie sheet. Oven bake 15 minutes.
  • In a casserole, heat oil with garlic and leeks at low heat. Cook and stir for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool down for 15 minutes.
  • Slice avocados in half with a knife and remove the core. With a spoon, remove the flesh from the peel and set it into a bowl.
  • With a fork, crush the flesh of the avocado with lime juice and zest. This way, the avocado won't blacken. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Salt and pepper.
