Ingredients

For the strawberries preparation:

  • 375 ml (1 1/2 cup) of diced strawberries
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of chopped basil
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of maple syrup
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of balsamic vinegar

For the mascarpone cream:

  • 1/2 package of mascarpone of about 250 g
  • 160 ml (2/3 cup) of vanilla-flavoured Greek yogurt

For the garnishing:

  • 50 g 70% dark chocolate
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) milk
  • 75 ml (1/3 cup) chopped pistachios
  • 12 mint leaves (optional)
Preparation

  • In a bowl, carefully mix all ingredients for the strawberry preparation. Macerate for 30 minutes at fresh.
  • Meanwhile, whisk mascarpone in a bowl with yogurt. Set aside at fresh.
  • When serving, divide the strawberries preparation into 12 verrines cups. Garnish each portion with mascarpone cream.
  • Heat the chocolate and milk in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes until the chocolate melts. Spread the chocolate into verrines.
  • Sprinkle each portion with pistachios and garnish with a mint leaf.
