Goat cheese, leeks and nuts tartlets
Ingredients
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of butter
- 1/2 finely minced leek
- 2 eggs
- 180 ml (3/4 cup) of milk
- Salt and pepper up to taste
- 1 package of 12 tartlets crust of 225 g
- 60 g of diced soft goat cheese (like Chèvre des Alpes)
- 80 ml (1/3 cup) of chopped walnuts
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add leeks and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, until tender. Remove from heat and let them cool.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs with milk and seasonings.
- Set the frozen tartlet crust over a baking sheet. Divide the leek and goat cheese inside the crust. Pour the egg and milk mixture over the crust, then spread the walnuts.
- Oven bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the center of each tartlet is well cooked.
