  • 180 ml (3/4 cup) of water
  • 250 ml (1 cup) of sugar
  • 1.25 ml (1/4 teaspoon) of salt
  • 45 ml (3 tablespoons) of cornstarch
  • 45 ml (3 tablespoon) of water
  • 750 ml (3 cups) of blueberries
  • 1 cooked pie crust of 23 cm or 25 cm (9 or 10 inches)
Preparation

  • Boil one cup of blueberries with water, sugar, and salt. Mix the cornstarch with water. Add it to the mixture while stirring, then let it boil for a few minutes until it thickens. Then remove from heating.

  • Add 3 cups of blueberries to the warm mixture. Cool down and pour onto the cooked pie crust.
