Potatoes with duck fat
Ingredients
- 4 large Idaho potatoes
- 1/3 package of 250 gr (1 cup) of sliced leeks
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) of Sir Laurier cheese
- 250 ml (1 cup) of duck fat
- Salt and pepper up to taste
- Slice potatoes into rings of 1/2 inch (5 slices per portion). Heat duck fat. Soak potatoes in and cook until it lightly roast. Drain over paper towels and set on a cookie sheet.
- Set into portions (5 slices around). Set sliced leeks and cheese over potatoes. Salt and pepper up to taste. Oven bake at 325 °F (160 °C) for 8 minutes.
