Leek’s white rolls
Ingredients
- 8 leek white of 10 cm (4 inches)
- 8 slices of cooked ham
- 250 ml (1 cup) of béchamel sauce of your choice
- 7.5 ml (1 1/2 teaspoon) of Dijon's mustard
- 225 g (1/2 lb) of gruyere of cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper
- Cook leeks with salted boiling water or chicken broth for 15 minutes, then drain. Roll each leek’s white with a slice of cooked ham.
- Set in a gratin plate. Prepare béchamel sauce, add Dijon mustard, and season to taste.
- Coat leeks with sauce.
- Spread cheese over leeks.
- Oven bake to 350°F (180°C) for 30 minutes.
