Braised beef with carrots juice
Ingredients
- 680 g (1 1/2 pound) of beef, to simmer (boneless), sliced in 4 pieces
- 1 onion, sliced in half
- 45 ml (3 tablespoons) of olive oil
- 500 ml (2 cups) of carrots juice
- 4 chopped garlic clove
- 1 sliced celery branch
- 1 Bay leaf
- 6 carrots, sliced at 1 cm (1/2 inch)
- 2 leeks white, sliced at 2.5 cm (1 inch)
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of fresh, chopped, parsley
- Salt and pepper
- Put the grill at the center of oven. Preheat oven at 350°F (180°C).
- Add carrots, Les Cultures de chez nous leeks white and continue cooking uncovered for about 40 minutes or till vegetables tender. Adjust seasonings.
- Side with potatoes and long grain rice. Garnish with parsley.
