Being myself a leek, I'm well situated to talk about food, don't you think so? You probably know that I love to eat, cook and find out about new recipes. And there's lots of people and influencers on the Web which makes me find out about all colors and flavours! As for myself, I don't think I'm a foodie influencer... even if i really suggest you to try out everything I try 😉 Like one of my friends would say : " Variety is good in your plate, but it's also good for inspiration! " So, I decided to present my top 10 of foodies influencers and local producers that you should absolutely follow on social media!

Recipes pictures of Maude Bergeron, alias @cuisineestudiantine on Instagram, are crazy... in the good term of it! No flafla, refined and white pictures that makes me want to eat each time. The Crazy Leek team is head over heels for brunchs, thought I love it as much as they do!  The Instagram account @ondejeune, led by @maybewats and @michelfleurs, is overflowing with brunchs pictures worth all my respect 👊 So, where do we meet for the brunch guys?

Girl from Québec and great traveler, @jojolafoodie makes me want to go back traveling with those pictures of all what she eats and find out. It's beautiful to see. Traveling the world, a risotto poutine, passing by Hungary or Italy, prepare yourself to travel and salivate!

I love surfing and not only on water... over all different foods currents too. With Jean-Philippe Cyr, I found out a world of flavors with his recipes made out of vegetables and grains. They're simple, very tasty and so delicious we could die for! One day, I'll give you my version of his ribs tempeh recipe. Stunning! Oh OKAY, I'll give it to you right now. Instead of tempeh, I take tofu and make hot-dog out of it with coleslaw in it. I swear it taste like real hot-dogs just like at your neighborhood canteen! With her Instagram account @loounie, Caroline share with us all her vegetarians creations and it's awesome. She's a health professional who adores cooking and which has more than a few recipe up her sleeves. Her bananas and chocolate doughnuts... I'd ate 12 of 'em! Her poutine-déj' with tofu squick-squick... you have to try this out. She's one of my favorite since the day I saw her win the Je suis chef competition at V, even if she doesn't have any formation in cooking! I take my hat off for her  👌

Ferme des Quatre-Temps

The Ferme des Quatre-Temps also inspire me a lot : production of organic vegetables, breeding porks on a beautiful woodland lot of 40 acres in Hemmingford, hens moving around freely and a 2d farm, smaller in Port-au-Persil with a vegetables production and breeding of lambs. Pictures from their Instagram account makes me want to start a farm myself! Also to discover on the Web.

For pretty pictures of local products, you have to take a look at the Facebook page of Ferme Chez Mario! Plus, the info-récolte (info-harvesting) section on their Web site is updated daily for us to see the amount of fruits and vegetables available that you can buy on site or pick up yourself. When you'll pass by Sainte-Madelaine, go say a warm bonjour to Mario and all his family and enjoy this time to pick up all vegetables needed for your dinner!

It's so beautiful to admire local productions filled with colors and to take a look at delicious recipes that we can do with those jewels of agriculture.
