Choco-avocado smoothie
A smoothie for dessert, why not! The stars for this smoothie is avocado : an easy way to add fibers, " good " fats and proteins to the healthy eating of all your family and even getting satiated!
In a mixer, mix :
- 1 or 2 ripe avocados
- 2 cups of milk
- 3 tablespoons of cocoa
- 3 tablespoons of honey of maple sirop

Carrots, apples and chocolate chips muffin
Muffin is an ally we want to eat (or make eat) more vegetables without compromise: these ones can be hidden easily in all recipes! Carrots add over here is rich in fibers, antioxidant and A vitamins. Contribute to skin health, immune system and eyes. Yes yes, you can still say " eat carrots, its good for you eyes"!
Ingredients
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour ( healthy tips : replace half of it by wheat flour for more fibers)
- 1 cup of flour
- 2 teaspoons of sodium bicarbonate
- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 2 cups of grated carrots
- 3/4 cup of chocolate chips (healthy tips: chose 70% cocoa for lesssugar and more antioxidant)
- 2 peeled apples, scoop out and grated
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup of oil
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla flavoring
Preparation
- Preheat oven at 375°F (190°C).
- Mix flour, sugar, sodium bicarbonate, cinnamon and salt in a bowl and put aside.
- Add carrots, chocolate chips and apples to flour.
- Scramble oil, eggs and vanilla in another bowl.
- Add liquids to the solid mixture and scramble till the dough gets homogenized.
- Fulfill molds.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 375°F (190°C).
Zucchinis and chocolate chips cookies
Beforehand, don't be scared : cookies won't be green! Zucchinies are well hidden, and inside the cookies you'll gain health and fun. Since they are mainly composed of water, they satiate while being less calorics.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour (healthy tips: replace half of it by wheat flour for more fibers)

- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring
- 1 ½ cup of grated zucchinis
- 1/2 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 2 cups of chocolate chips (healthy tips: chose 70% cocoa for lesssugar and more antioxidant)
- 1 cup of fast cooking oatmeal
- 1 cup of granola
Preparation
- Preheat oven at 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, scramble butter in cream with sugar till it gets a light texture.
- Add egg and vanilla to the butter and sugar mixture and mix well.
- Add zucchini.
- Add all the mix to flour, cinnamon and sodium bicarbonate previously sifted.
- Incorporate choclate chips, oatmeal and granola.
- Oven bake on a cookie plate not greased for 10 to 12 minutes.

Soft dates, almond and choclate bars
When we start to decorticate nutritional value of our favorite trader soft bars, we realize that they're not that much "healthy". Try this homemade soft bars made with nuts, dates and oatmeal to fill up in proteins and fibers. Slip them in lunchs box or for dessers to make people around you happy! (Psst, we also have for you originals recipes for lunchs).
Ingredients
- 6 pit dates (or dried, beforehand boiled in seconds)
- 1 cup of oatmeal
- 1 cup of nuts of your choice ( white almond, pecan nuts, etc.)
- 1/4 cup of chocolate chips (healthy tips : chose 70% cocoa for lesssugar and more antioxidant)
- 1 tablespoon of pinut butter
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation
- Reduce in pieces dates and nuts in a culinary robots.
- Add other ingredients and reduce till the mix stand when we press with the hand, or add date till it gets like the texture you desire.
- Lay parchmin paper in a square molds deep enough (favorably 8 inch on 8 inch) for soft bars to stand when cutting.
- Press the mixture in the molds.
- Refrigerate for 60 minutes.
- With a knife, unmold and cut the mixture in bars of desired size.
Starwberry, banana and zucchini sorbet
What so better to the following of an original BBQ recipe, than an original frozed mix of fruits and vegetables ? This sorbet is easy and fresh to prepare and will surprise more than one with its composure of strawberry, banana and zucchini!
In a mixer, mix:
- 1 cup of frozen zucchinis
- 1 cup of frozen bananas
- 1 cup of frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup of fresh strawberries
- 4 dates
- 2 or 3 drops of flavoured vanilla
