Coffee in your plate
You'll be surprised to learn that you can actually add coffee in your spaghetti sauce and quiches to raise the taste. Will you dare try?
Leeks quiche without rind with coffee
If you only have 15 minutes in front of you and only want one portion, reduce quantities and cook quiche in a mug in microwave. It looks good, taste great and it's fast!
Ingredients :
- 2 white of leeks sliced in rings
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) of white wine
- 1 cup (250 ml) of cooked ham
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of oranges mamalade
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 tablespoon of milk
- 1 cup (250 ml) of 35 % cream
- 3/4 cup (175 ml) of grated cheddar
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of ground coffee
- Salt up to taste
- Pepper up to taste
- Butter for baking
Preparation :
- Preheat oven at 210°C (425 °F).
- In a large pan, melt butter and bake leeks rings for 10 minutes.
- Pour in white wine, salt and pepper. Reduce liquids till dryness.
- Remove leeks and put aside at room temperature.
- In the same pan unwashed, add ham with ground coffee and marmalade. Bake for 2 minutes at medium-high heat, then remove from fire.
- In a large bowl, scramble eggs and add milk and cream. Mix alltogether.
- Spray cooking spray on a pie plate of 9 inch (23 cm).
- Lay leeks, coffee ham and cheese at the bottom of the pie plate. Pour above eggs preparation.
- Oven bake at 210 °C (425 °F) for 15 minutes, on the bottom grill. Low down oven heat at 180 °C (350 °F) and bake 20 more minutes ou till the quiche gets golden.

Ham spaghetti with tomato sauce and coffee
Would you have believed one day that you'll use coffee to enhance your spaghetti sauce? This day has come : reinvent classicals!
Ingredients :
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1/2 pound of spaghetti
- 2 finely grounded mid onions
- 2 or 3 finely grounded garlic cloves
- 2 or 3 diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons of tomato concentrate
- 1/2 pound of minced muchroom
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 pinch of salt
- Salt, pepper and oregano
- 3/4 cup of infused coffee
- Grated parmesan (up to taste)
Preparation :
- Brown onions and garlic in olive oil in a large pan. Add ground beef and fry it.
- Pour peeled and sliced tomatoes, minced mushroom, tomato concentrate and coffee on the meat.
- Let simmer 30 minutes and add a bit of water if necessary.
- Add oregano. Let on the heat 5 more minutes, then salt and pepper.
- bake spaghetti and pour sauce on it.
- Spray grated parmesan.
- Enjoy!
Marinades for meats on the grill
Barbecue season will soon come! After opening the beast like it should be at the beggening of the season, try out our marinade made with coffee. It seasons perfectly all pieces of meats ( and you'll impress all your guest).
Espresso Marinade with red wine vinegar
Ingredients :
- 1 infused espresso
- 1/2 cup of red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
- 1 shallot
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 3 finely ground garlic cloves
- 2 teaspoons of finely ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons of pepper
Preparation :
- In a bowl, mix all ingredients.
- Marinate meats of your liking in the marinade for at least 24 hours.
- Bake and enjoy!
Barbecue-coffee marinade
Ingredients :
- 1/2 cup of infused espresso
- 1 cup of ketchup
- 1/4 cup of red wine vinegar
- 3/4 cup of compacted brown sugar
- 1 ground onion
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons of molasses
- 2 tablespoons of dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon of water
- 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons of ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons of chili powder
Preparation :
- in a pan, simmer all ingredients at low heat for 20 minutes.
- Let cool down and reduce to puree with a mixer till homogenization
- Marinate a piece of meat of your likes for 24 hours.
- Bake and enjoy!

- 1 teaspoon of instant coffee
- 3/4 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon of vinalla extract
- 2 teaspoons of sugar (up to taste)
- 2 teaspoons of chocolate sirop (optional)
Preparation :
- Mix well

Vinaigrette for salads
This vinaigrette accompany fantastically all your salads and even more, its easy to prepare!
Coffee with maple sirop vinaigrette
Ingredients :
- 1 tablespoon of Meaux mustard
- 1 tablespoon of maple sirop
- 1 tablespoon of cool infused espresso
- 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of pepper
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
Preparation :
- In a bowl, mix with a whisk Meaux mustard, maple sirop, espresso, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.
- While continually whipping, add slowly olive oil to the preparation.
- Add to your favorite salads and enjoy!

You've maybe baked cakes of muffins with coffee, but have you ever thought to add this ingredient in your icy desserts? Only two ingredients for a little delight on stick!
Popsicle iced coffee
Ingredients :
- 2 cups of infused coffee
- 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk
Preparation :
- Mix well with a whisk coffee and condensed milk
- Pour in a posicle mold.
- Frozen for at least 4 hours or till popsicle gets completely frozen.
- Enjoy!
